Chapter II : Tonkatsu Ghost!? Ox Fire Runs Wild!!
The next morning, Subaru's mother is off to work, and while she doesn't want to force the issue, she does think you should consider going to school sometime. Subaru's complete lack of response speaks volumes, and she heads off. Rock then questions Subaru about school and the like, with some potential foreshadowing as to Rock's past when Subaru mentions that Rock doesn't know what it's like to lose someone important. At any rate, Rock is bored, and wants Subaru to guide him around to see various types of humans. Subaru doesn't want to, so Rock goes wild in the Transer, causing Subaru to go flying about, and quickly establishing Rock as the seme of their relationship. It also proves I've been on the Internet too long, as I can already see really bad fanfiction starting like this:

Rock: Hey Subaru, I wanna try out that thing Earthlings call "sex"!
Subaru: No, I don't wanna.
*Rock rampages about until Subaru agrees to have sex with him*
Note to deranged fangirls out there: This is not a challenge. Please do not write such fanfiction. Life is hard enough without the thought of fifth-grade emo kids being anally raped by alien wolves.

Aaaaaaaaaaaanyway... when you regain control of Subaru, you can turn on the Visualizer with Y to see the radio waves around you, and even talk to some of the programs and such. Also, start investigating everything - you can turn on some devices and open up Wave Holes you'll be able to access later. For starters, examine Subaru's PC and choose to activate it to open up a Wave Hole that you'll be able to enter later. Anyway, Rock wants to see people, so head out and talk to everyone. A short scene will follow where Rock now wants to see people's Personal Pages, so go to the big Wave Hole in the middle of town and go On Air. You should now see little boxes above everyone's heads - touch them to view their Personal Pages. After viewing all of them, Rock will reveal his main purpose for wanting to poke around - this morning he felt the aura of an FM alien in the city, and wanted to see if it had been hiding in a Transer like Rock himself was! However, all the people and Transers were clean... meaning it has to be hiding in a Dennou World! Head over to the Dennou World of the car, and check the upper corner to find a Jamminga. Take him out and everything will be alright again. Wave out and head back home...

And the Terrible Threesome is back to bother us some more. While Subaru is more than content to just stand quietly while Luna and Gonta ramble on, War Rock is not so patient, and possessing Subaru's arm performs his "War Rock Upper" to knock Gonta out in one swoop. Subaru hastily apologizes and runs inside. Scene shifts to a cut scene with Luna bitching out Gonta for his worthlessness and threatening to cut him off her Brother Band. After she and Kizamaro leave, Gonta worries about how he's no longer useful to Luna, and thus will return to being alone, something he can't stand. However... a voice calls to him seemingly out of nowhere, and in a flash of light, a fiery bull appears before Gonta. Gonta, naturally, is afraid, believing it to be (I kid you not) the ghost of the tonkatsu he ate yesterday. The bull first angrily asserts that it is not a ghost, and then adds that he couldn't be the ghost of the tonkatsu anyway, since tonkatsu is pig, whereas he is a bull. The tonkatsu ghost introduces itself as Ox, an FM alien from FM Planet, and offers power to Gonta to insure his keeping of a position of usefulness to Luna.

Back with Subaru, he and Rock are having a little argument about Rock's knocking out of Gonta, and they decide to call it a day and go to sleep. Three days later, we find them watching the news, which says bad stuff is going down. Subaru takes the healthy route and decides he doesn't care, and decides to head off to the lookout. However, he has a bad premonition on the way out the door, which pretty much guarantees that he's going to have to care about that bad stuff going down. Upon arriving at the lookout, however, Subaru's bad premonition seems to come true in other ways - Luna and Kizamaro show up to harass him some more. Turns out they, along with Gonta, are investigating the incidents of crap being broken throughout the city, and just happened to run into Subaru on the way. They ask if he wants to help, and he wisely declines. The two leave without incident, and Subaru decides to go home. On the way though, he runs into the reunited threesome, who offer him a ride home. He refuses, and takes the opportunity to apologize to Gonta for the other day. Subaru runs home, but Gonta's not satisfied, and Ox uses the chance to transform Gonta into Ox Fire, who then takes over the truck. The truck speeds out of control, chasing Subaru, and a frightened Luna and Kizamaro explain the situation to Subaru. He and Rock work out a plan, and Subaru runs to the Wave Hole in the middle of town and quickly waves in.

Once you gain control, your mission is to stop the truck, hopefully without injuring the two inside. Head over to the parked car, and go to the control panel. You'll be attacked by a Giant Met and two smaller ones - nothing too tough. A short scene follows with the truck ramming into and being stopped by the car. Wave out, then wave into the truck... and you'll end up in a dungeon-style Dennou World in a fashion all too familiar to EXE veterans. Now then, let's introduce the dungeon - there are a few doors that required colored keys to advance. They're in the panels strewn about the area, and to reach them, you'll need to ride some bulls. And now we get to the "fun" part - the developers decided to incorporate the Touch Screen again *groan*. Basically, to keep your balance, you'll need to touch the buttons that appear, or be thrown to your death... or just a loss of 15 HP, either way. Fail three times, and you'll be thrown. Pass the first bull to pick up the Red Key, then head back (after removing the key and fixing the panels, each bull becomes tame), then open the bottom right of the two doors. Ride the next bull, then head right to pick up the Blue Key. Backtrack to go through the remaining door, and tame the third bull. Head left to pick up Yellow Key, then immediately use it on the door near the bull to head to Truck 2.

A short scene ensues with Luna and Kizamaro attempting to reason with Gonta, but Ox stops them. Rock explains that FM aliens have the ability to turn humans into radio waves, and that the enemy is Ox, a strong bull-like FM alien of incredible strength, who attacks with charges. The only way to save them is to stop him, so let's go! The two doors immediately available require four TetraKeys, so tame the bull to move on. Grab the first TetraKey and jump on the next bull. Repeat (none of the TetraKeys are terribly hard to find), and upon acquiring the last one, use the warp to appear behind the first door of the area. Head through, and then head down to the other door, and dash down the path to confront Ox Fire. It's boss time!!

After the fight, Ox will disappear, and Subaru will decide to name himself "Rockman", introducing himself as such to the barely conscious Luna. ....goddamnit, she's going to start crushing on Rock now. Bloody hell. Well, they all wake up and have a little makeup sesion, so Gonta won't be cut from Luna's Brother Band. Meanwhile, Rock explains how the FM aliens can enter the hearts of humans who have openings due to isolation. He then waxes philosophical on how humans need a place to be, and yet as the FM aliens need humans to unleash their power fully here, perhaps they're not so different... Subaru waxes a bit too, and the day ends.
